CQC readiness checker — FAQs

Is the CQC readiness checker free?

Yes — completely free, with no sign-up required to get your score. It takes a couple of minutes and gives you a readiness percentage across the five key questions plus the areas that need attention.

How is my score calculated?

You answer a short set of questions grouped under Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. Each answer scores as in place, partly in place or not in place, and Complys averages them into a per-domain and overall readiness percentage. It's an indicative self-assessment, not a formal CQC judgement.

Is this an official CQC tool?

No. It's a free self-assessment built by Complys around CQC's five key questions to help you gauge your readiness. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Care Quality Commission.

What happens to my answers?

The checker runs in your browser and your answers aren't saved unless you choose to create a free Complys account to keep your assessment and manage the evidence behind it.
