For H&S consultants

Complys Affiliate Programme for Health & Safety Consultants

You already write the risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessments and audits your clients depend on. Complys gives those clients one place to store, share and keep that documentation in date — and pays you recurring commission when they subscribe through your referral.

The compliance gap in front of you

The hardest part of a consultant's job isn't producing a good RAMS or audit — it's getting the client to keep it live between your visits. Complys turns your deliverables into a maintained system: version-controlled documents, training that shows who's in date, and reminders before certificates lapse. Your advice sticks, your reviews go faster, and each engagement becomes an ongoing, commissionable recommendation.

Your documents go stale after you leave

You hand over a polished RAMS or policy pack and, months later, it's out of date and buried in a shared drive. Without a live system the value of your work fades between visits.

Audit prep starts from scratch every time

When an accreditation or client audit looms, you're chasing training certificates and signed assessments across email. A single organised record removes most of that scramble.

Clients confuse 'having a document' with 'being compliant'

A PDF in a folder isn't evidence it's been read, understood or kept current. Consultants need clients to maintain the record, not just receive it.

Why H&S consultants refer Complys

It complements your service, not competes

Complys holds the RAMS, COSHH, audits and accreditation evidence you create — it doesn't replace your expertise, it makes your work easier to maintain and evidence.

Your whole client book is the audience

Every business you advise is a candidate. You don't need a large following — a portfolio of client businesses is the ideal referral network.

Less chasing, better retention

Clients who keep records current in Complys are easier to support at review time, which helps retention on your own consultancy work.

How compliance software changes a consultant's client relationship

Health and safety consultants live with a familiar frustration: the quality of the advice is high, but the client's ability to keep it alive is low. You build a competent RAMS library, a COSHH register and a training matrix, and within a quarter it's drifting out of date because there's no system holding it together. The documents exist; the compliance doesn't.

Complys is the layer that keeps your work maintained. Risk assessments and method statements sit in one place with version history, so the current version is always obvious. Training and competency records show who is in date and who needs a refresher. Certificates and reviews carry expiry dates with reminders, so nothing quietly lapses between your visits. When you arrive for a review, you're improving a live system rather than rebuilding a dead one.

That changes the economics of your consultancy. Clients who maintain their records need less firefighting and are far easier to prepare for a client audit or an accreditation such as CHAS, SafeContractor or ISO 45001. Your reviews become higher-value and less about data entry. And because the client is getting visible, ongoing value from a system you recommended, your own retention improves alongside it.

Recommending Complys is not a departure from your role — it's the practical home for everything you already produce. You stay the expert who writes the assessments and interprets the regulations; Complys is simply where the client keeps them working. For a consultant with a book of business clients, that makes it one of the most natural referrals available, and because it's recurring, a single introduction can generate commission for as long as the client stays subscribed within the qualifying period.

H&S consultants: frequently asked questions

Will Complys replace the consultancy work I sell?

No. Complys is where your clients store and maintain the documentation you produce — risk assessments, method statements, COSHH, audits and training records. It supports your service between visits rather than replacing your expertise, and tends to make your reviews more valuable, not less.

Can I recommend Complys across my whole client portfolio?

Yes. Complys serves businesses across many sectors, so consultants with varied client bases aren't limited to one industry. Each eligible client that subscribes through your unique Partner link can generate recurring commission during the qualifying period.

Do my clients still need me if they have Complys?

Yes — Complys organises records, it doesn't interpret regulations or write competent assessments. Clients with a live system typically value expert review more, because the groundwork is already in order when you arrive.

What commission rate do Complys Partners earn — 20% or 25%?

Founding Partners (the first 100) earn 25% on qualifying referred customer revenue from day one, with no threshold to reach. Standard Partners earn 20% on their first £20,000 of cumulative qualifying referred customer revenue, then 25% on qualifying revenue above £20,000. Once a Standard Partner reaches 25%, that Growth Partner rate is retained. All rates apply to qualifying subscription revenue actually received by Complys, subject to the Partner Programme terms.

Is Complys affiliate commission recurring?

Yes. Eligible Partners can earn recurring commission on qualifying subscription payments from customers they successfully refer, subject to the applicable commission period and the Complys Partner Programme terms. A successful referral may generate multiple commission payments rather than a single one-off payment.

How are Complys affiliate referrals tracked?

Approved Partners receive a unique affiliate referral link. When someone follows that link, referral information is used to attribute eligible sign-ups and qualifying subscriptions to the correct Partner in accordance with the programme's tracking and attribution rules. You can monitor activity in your Partner dashboard.

Is there a fee to become a Complys Partner?

No. There is no joining fee to apply for the Complys Affiliate Programme. Applications are reviewed to make sure prospective Partners, their audiences and their promotional methods are suitable for the programme.
